I’m Philip Gimotea, a twenty-something nurse educator by profession and digital creator by passion from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. As a person with an unrelenting and high regard for lifelong learning and new experiences, the possibilities are endless — from science, philosophy, and the arts, to mundane thrills, such as doing still and food photography, meeting new folks, drowning myself in non-fictions, café hopping, exploring new places, and binge watching TV series. Blogging and content creation have been my diversional activities from the restless demands of professional endeavors and life’s dramas.

I started blogging last 2016 as a result of my ardor for translating ideas into words and living through the wonders of the world. Philspectives. is a personal and lifestyle blog for documenting my notions, enthrallment, and revelries in this emprise I call life. My zeal for writing and the aesthetic inspirations around me galvanized the get-up-and-gos and musings that crafted the ideas for this blog. Practically, the blog is about sharing stories on food, travel, lifestyle, and all things I love in life, from a millennial’s point of view.
