Prints of Summer

As the season turns over a new leaf, all but memories and glee are kept. Though coining the season as “summer” is a misnomer (Technically, in the tropics, it should be regarded as dry season), everyone is just purely thrilled to frolic and to keep the scorching heat at bay whenever the summer weather invigorates. Summer of 2017 swoons me as the experiences of the season brought a roller coaster of emotions, from my literally crazy Davao internship to the series of fulfilling adventures, all imprinted on the limbic system of my mind.
In Coffeholic We Trust

“In Coffeeholic We Trust,” these are the words engraved on the modest counter in one of the local coffee shops here in the city, none other than, Coffeeholic. As the name conveys, Coffeeholic is an unruffled refuge for those folks who wanted a contrasting place from what the bustling urban jungle offers. Coffee shops give a glimpse of reprieve that the world has long been depriving us from. As I quote myself, “In this nefarious world, a cafĂ©, alongside good conversations, is enough.”
Think Up, Lighten Up

For the past two weeks, I have been out of town for an internship in line with my course’s curriculum. It was actually a trip full of uncertainties, a new city, new set of people, and new experiences to be unraveled. Spending two weeks out of my comfort zone is definitely not my type of diversion but luckily as I tried to compromise on things which I cannot and will never control, I have got to come through hastily and effortlessly.
