Everything Lit at Espressini Café

October 23, 2017

With the newly opened Cagayan Town Center, the city is now a go-to-place for people who frequent in diners and coffee shops. Adding to this trend of Instagram-worthy niches is Espressini Café. The place opened its doors last July 28, being one of the firsts in the lifestyle hub, Cagayan Town Center. And, the gastronome in me was thrilled and immediately set a date to try in what it has to offer.
Walls printed with intricately designed pastel motifs and fittings deliberately complementing each other, I was definitely in awe with how much effort, details and time were expedited to put all the pieces together, similarly as what most coffee shops and restaurants in Metro Manila and abroad take an effort to. The cozy interiors, as what most invigorates, is a mix of neoteric and elaborate architectures; Instagram-worthy indeed!

Aside from the awe-inspiring interior designs, which I usually look for into the plethora of diners and coffee shops, Espressini did not lag behind in the local culinary game. Their finds are as pleasing and as reckonable as their interiors. They offer a wide variety of bill of fare, from breakfast favorites, main courses, pastas, salads, sandwiches, to smoothies, hot drinks, and frappes. In this café, everything is lit!

What I Got for Lunch?

Chicken Ala King. One of their best sellers, this rice topping offers a generous share of diced chicken and mushrooms in a cream-based sauce. A perfect balance of sweetness and umami flavor.
Deconstructed Sinigang na Baboy. A contemporary twist based from the growing food trend right now. In contrast to the traditional sinigang, the dried pork chop is topped on an herb-infused fried rice, while still maintaining that mukhasim-inducing flavor.
Crispy Fried Chicken. Our favorite country fried chicken of two large cuts with gravy and sautéed vegetables on the sides.

Take a cup of tea or coffee or dine in with their delectable main courses and appetizers at Espressini Café. They are situated at the 2nd Floor of Cagayan Town Center, Gen. Antonio Luna corner Capt. Vicente Roa Streets of this city. They are open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, perfect for that power breakfasts or relaxing night suppers.
